Family-Owned. Over 20 Years of Experience. Quality You Can Trust.
A specialist, on purpose.
We work on residential hardwood floors: refinishing, sanding, restoration, staining, and screen & recoat. When you request an estimate, you are writing to The Floor Guys.
We are based near Geneva, Ohio. The Floor Guys serves homeowners within approximately 60 miles of Geneva, Ohio, including communities throughout Lake, Ashtabula, Geauga, eastern Cuyahoga, and nearby Northeast Ohio.
How we work with homeowners
Jeff handles the estimate process remotely whenever possible, using phone calls, text messages, photos, videos, measurements, and the details you share about the floor. He does that so pricing stays consistent and is not shaped by assumptions about a customer’s financial situation.
The price is based on the work: square footage, floor condition, refinishing, sanding, restoration, stain, finish, or a screen and recoat. We use the same pricing standards for every customer. We do not change the price because of a car, a neighborhood, or how a home appears.
You send a note about the floors. We follow up by phone or text and explain what we recommend before anything is scheduled. If a floor should not be sanded again, we will say that from the information and pictures you provide.
There is no portal and no sales script. The estimate form on this site sends your request to us by email. The form does not upload photos. After you submit it, we can request pictures or video by text.
Estimates are based on the project information provided. If the actual scope of work is materially different, we will discuss it with you before additional work is performed.
